Went o New Plymouth for a Conference and chose this motel as it was close to venue. Couldn't fault this Motel or service we received. Had all it said it would, and it was a comfortable motel. Quiet, pleasant motel: Very helpful and pleasant staff:

One exception was that unpredictable Wi-Fi. Double check the free Wi-Fi as we did get it given to us, but it was not a great reception at all, so ended up using our own system.

Recommend this Motel? YES most definitely

Room Tip: If needed ask to get ground floor, some units are upstairs. We had unit with 4 steps so was manageable. WE DID NOT ask prior. Our issue.

My wife and I often stay at the Coronation Court in New Plymouth as it is clean quiet and vale for money. Alonng with that it allows us to walk to town via Pukekera park which is a wonderful attraction!. The Coronation Court Motel also has a guest laundray and a view of Mt Taranaki (when the clouds allow). We have always had a pleasant experience here.

Room Tip: ask for upsatirs room to avoid cars parking at your front window

We chose this for a motel near the park for an event, so this was perfect. However the motel door key did not open the door for about 5 mins as seemed to be stuck!! Not good late at night. The room was very old fashioned and the walls were brick blocks, reminded me of an old school. The beds were comfortable and shower powerful but don't think I would stay again.

Stayed 2 nights in room 10 upstairs. Unpretentious but has what is required. Large studio, plenty of room, free wifi 500Mb/night, balcony, sky sports channels no movie channels included. Microwave small hotplate, fridge loads of cupboards, comfy queen bed, good shower. Negatives: walk downstairs to car with gear, walls paper thin and require good neighbours, looking a bit tired, door lock fiddly to open, no separate conditioner in shower only body liqid soap but good value for $100/night. Parking not guaranteed near your room but enough spaces. Close to Pukekura park 2min walk to List street entrance. Festival of the lights is magical, walking back in dark not advised but glow worms a bonus.3 min drive to town, about 1.8km.

Room Tip: Upstairs access via stairs more difficult but a nice balcony the bonus. no views of Mountain.

Owners were very friendly and helpful. The unit was not cramped and had basic facilities as we expected for the price. Several Sky channels and the bed was good. Our unit on the ground floor was quiet and we had parking right outside. We stayed 3 nights and drove the short distance to New Plymouth central for our sightseeing etc.

Room Tip: Our unit on the southern wing was quiet. It was relatively spacious although the bathroom was basic as expected for the price.
