Located right in the heart of Paihia, the location couldn't be better if you want to park up and leave your car where it is. Made full use of their facilities from the pool to the Spa...nice clean and tidy rooms. And the staff were friendly and helpful. No problem recommending it to people.

We visited Paihia (Bay of Islands) during the peak season, when we were checking in we understood that the hotel was fully booked by us not finding a place to park our hire car!
The staff at the hotel are very friendly (we were checked in by smiling Richa! Who made us feel very welcome).

The rooms are adequate and spacious, we had both a great shower cubicle as well as bath.

They have fast internet wifi which was great !

We didn’t use the restaurant so I can comment on that.

Generally for the price one pays this is a great value for your money.

Definitely would recommend.

Stayed for a total of 3 nights after only booking for one, very clean and tidy rooms, nice sunny pool, close to all amenities in Piahia just a walk to shops, restaurants and Wharf, the buffet on offer didn't look very appetising and quite expensive, however there are plenty of good local restaurants in town.

Room Tip: ask for an upstairs room with a balcony

This hotel is in a very good position close to the water front , close to Restaurants and shops, the room's are large with basic bathrooms, the breakfast was included, I only stayed for three days and it was just what I needed, the swimming was very nice with sun loungers to relax on. there is a laundry room.

We were booked in to this motel for 4 nights. On the day we moved into the room it was obvious that the floor had not been vacuumed and there were hairs on the ledge of the bath. We didn’t make a fuss as we assumed it would be done the next day but it wasn’t. Housekeeping had also left only one towel between 2 of us and less than half a roll of toilet paper. They didn’t bother to clean the bathroom as they left a damp flannel on the bath and the hairs were still there. They also still hadn’t vaccummed. We complained to reception and we were assured the room would be cleaned thoroughly the next day. To our astonishment the next day it was even worse! They still hadn’t vaccummed, they hadn’t cleaned the toilet or the bathroom and left the damp bathmat on the floor which I had put there when I had a shower that morning. By this point we were extremely annoyed and asked someone on reception to come have a look. He agreed that the standard of housekeeping was not acceptable. He apologised and moved us to a junior suite. To be fair this suite was very nice but the fiasco of the previous 2 days has left us with a bad impression of this motel and we wouldn’t stay there again. Even when cleaning the junior suite it took housekeeping 10 minutes only. When looking for accommodation hygiene and cleanliness is very important to us and you would think it would be for the hotel but obviously not!
