Sue and Brian are charming hosts, extremely friendly and helpful with finding our way around Napier and Hawks Bay. Great room, delightful breakfasts, with peaceful surroundings. Would absolutely stay here again if we venture this way in the future.

This is a lovely house in the country just outside Napier. The location is convenient enough as Napier area isn't too large. Our hosts Sally and Brian were quite charming and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The house was very comfortable (slightly warm in our room) and the surrounding yard was lovely. Lots of fruit trees and a very restful feeling contributed to our enjoyment. Our hosts joined us every morning for our nice continental breakfast and we had some very informative conversations with them about the country and all sorts of topics. Brian is quite the talker and both have very interesting backgrounds. Brian shared some wine with us in the afternoon and they were very helpful in telling us how to get around the area. When we left, they gave us a bagful of fruit from their trees, which we happily consumed on the rest of our trip. Overall, a very lovely stay and would recommend this to anyone.

Room tip: Both rooms are very comfortable. One has a door leading out to the side yard.

Redcliffe's hosts Sue and Brian are lovely people. They have a great place were you can feel at home. Their dogs Sarah and Sophie are friendly dogs. Sue is a great cook and makes delicious meals with the products she harvests in their garden and orchard. The rooms are very comfortable, with a nice bathroom and comfortable beds. The place is beautifully restored. We can recommend this place. The area is beautiful. Interesting for golf players: One of the best golf courses is nearby: Cape Kidnappers.

We stayed at Redcliffe with the lovely Sue & Brian for two nighst in Feb whilst on a five week tour of NZ. They made us so welcome in their beautiful home, The breakfast was superb - home baked muffins- the highlight! Such interesting conversation, lovely gardens/orchards, good advice on what to visit in the local area too. Can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough. Napier is such an interesting place to visit & staying here added so much to that experience. Thank you again Sue & Brian

Sue and Brian definitely enjoy hosting and their beautifully restored farmhouse is one of the best places we have stayed EVER. Sue went way beyond the call of duty to accommodate my wife's food allergies and Brian was able to explain cricket to this Yank in such a way that I could understand the game. Their farm produces most of the food they serve and they enjoy sharing it. The location is perfect for exploring the area, rural but equally easy access to the city center and the wineries. The beds are comfortable, the shower was marvelous and the company was most enjoyable.
