We stayed in a 2 Bedroom apartment which had all our requirements, but having to pay for Parking and Wifi usage,is in my opinion an exorbitant extra. We have been on the North Island for 12 days and stayed in similar 2 Bedroom accommodation in Motels, where parking and wifi were included.

Room Tip: Just dont stay there

I regularly stay at Quest apartments all over the North Island when traveling for business. They are great for travelers, having a washing machine and dryer - but if you book a smaller room in the Napier Quest, you are out of luck: there is no washing machine or dryer. To their credit WiFi in the rooms is free. The room was spacious and comfortable, the view from the room was of a car park and a beautiful park 500 meters away. There is a welcome ceiling fan; and a portable air-conditioner with the vent attached to the window - which means that window can't close properly and the blind doesn't sit straight when closed. But no problem. The king-size bed was very comfortable and there was no noise outside during the night. The bathroom is nicely tiled, but for some inexplicable reason the walk-in shower has two glass panels plus a cheap shower curtain for the gap. Either something was broken awaiting replacement or the architect had a brain freeze at that moment. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building itself is a a beautiful heritage building in the centre of the city. The public areas have polished wooden floors. If you have a car, the car parking is on ground level and the next floor up - which requires using a car elevator. The various floors are oddly numbered in the lift which makes finding your way around a little difficult - this is one thing that could be easily fixed. I certainly would stay here again - only I would make sure the room had a washing machine and dryer.

As mentioned by other reviewers the location is very good within an easy stroll to the beach.
The rooms are basic but they serve a purpose if only staying for a few nights.
Beware the early morning start to pay for car parking!

Stayed for a night for work. Overall it was fine. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious with a separate desk and dining table along with nice new bathroom and kitchen. However there were a few things that detracted from the stay that could be fixed. The TV is tiny. There is no air conditioning built into the room and the room gets super hot - there is a portable air conditioner in the room but you have to keep the window open so the exhaust pipe can go out it, which defeats the purpose and the unit is incredibly loud. Bed and pillows weren't super comfortable.

I'd stay here again in winter if the price was reasonable but not as a first choice.

Good accommodation with friendly, helpful staff, willing to offer advice and to help with booking trips etc. Additional facilities (e.g. self-service laundry) useful when travelling between several locations.

Room Tip: Higher floors were quiet, but upper floor corridors very hot!
