The hotel is at walking distance from main shopping areas, parks and the harbour. Apartments are very comfortable and are ideal for long stays, with very well equipped kitchens and very spacious. A very good choice in Auckland!

We were looking for a place to say our last night in New Zealand, and boy did we luck out. Fantastic central location. Beautiful room. Extremely cheerful and helpful staff. Our only regret is we had to leave the next day!

Can't fault the reception staff and concierge. Although sorting the wifi out every single day was annoying, as wouldn't connect to more than two items (although told upto 5). Thought it really odd how late the room cleaning was actioned too...approx. 5pm each day, which was a little convenient a couple of times. Paid $10 for a quick in room breakfast, that had a "diet" yoghurt that was yuck, an overripe banana a cheap fruit juice but a very yummy muffin (thank gawd for that). Also had a problem with the inhouse safe when it errored and a locksmith had to be called out to get it open again. The bed was amazingly comfortable although slightly tilting on one side from overuse (so perhaps they could turn the mattress occasionally to stop that problem). The inhouse movies were hard to here and very dark...couldn't figure out why when the rest of the channels ok. Still after all those little gripes, would definitely stay again. The pool and gym were as described too...didn't eat in the restaurant/bar so can't comment on those.

Room Tip: None of the rooms have particularly good views, and having an interlocking door isn't the best as I could hear next door fairly clearly

I chose to stay at this hotel partly because of its excellent location in Auckland CBD, and good deals were found at the last minute on the hotel website. The facilities were updated, with a small indoor swimming pool and gym. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall, this hotel is very good for both business and leisure stays.

Room Tip: Choose the apartment if you can afford it.

Room Tip: Beds and pillows were very soft for our liking. I think we thought the room would be bigger i.e. more like an apartment but that's probably our own fault for not checking!
