... the food and service were first class. The booking policy of having to pre-select the degustation or signature menu to guarantee a dinner reservation were a little restrictive and frustrating, as was the strict adherence to the booking cancellation policy when one of our group were unable to attend on the night. This aside the food on the Signature Menu was Japanese food at it's finest. The entrees were beautifully presented, the sashimi platter was huge (26 types of seafood!!) and we only managed to conquer half of it. The wagyu beef was fantastic and the dessert light and refreshing as we were full by this stage. We had two bottles of wine that matched well. The service was excellent. A special dining experience, although rather on the expensive side.
