'Como' is bang central to all Perth's many attractions. I arrived at midnight,
very tired from a direct flight from Heathrow via Hong Kong.
The hotel was the perfect calm I needed . No busy check-in desk; just an antique table with a very attentive member of staff who was expecting me and ushered me up to a wonderful minimalist modern room where everything was controlled by a touch on a control panel. Amazing bathroom ; the size of most folks sitting rooms. Truly wonderful Luxury in todays world.

Room Tip: Not on front street low level

We stayed for 4 nights over Christmas and had a fantastic time.

Check in was calm and personalised, seated with a drink and refreshing towel.
We were shown to our room and shown how everything works - with our luggage beating us there.
Our room was facing Council House and extremely spacious - I believe we were upgraded.
The bed was comfortable with Italian linens. The shower was massive and the COMO Shambala toiletries were beautiful.
We received some really cute turn down treats on Christmas eve and more on Christmas morning.

Breakfast at Post was fantastic every morning (especially on Christmas morning). The women working were always attentive and remembered us each morning.
The mini bar in the room is also included - along with a good selection of movies.

We loved the Pool + Gym area - it was never too busy.

Overall, we had a really relaxing experience where the service was thorough yet non intrusive.

Can't wait to come back.

Room Tip: Not sure you can go wrong.

Stayed in the hotel for 3 night at a conference. Host was trying to impress the group.
Room are very opulent. liked the huge shower/ bathroom feature. Bed VERY comfortable. Daughter also attended . She felt very spoilt.
Restaurants and casual eating areas very funky and well done. Only downside was the oversized daily rate. Fine if you are paying in $US or even Euro, and yes, you get what you pay for, but A$600 a night is at the top end of Aussie price range

The hotel was recently rated as the best in Australia and New Zealand and we have been staying at a Como resort before, so expectations were very high before our stay. But they were completely fulfilled.

The room (we stayed in a Studio Suite) was very spacious and very nicely furnished and decorated with a lot of attention to the details. Even though the room faced the street it was very quiet. The huge bathroom also had everything one could ask for, including heated floors. There was really nothing that could be improved, only the entertainment system was a bit hard to operate.

The hotel itself is located in the center of the city in a building that also contains a few other restaurants, cafes and shops. This gives the hotel a special flair as you don't have the impression to be in a "hotel bubble" but in the middle of things in the city, passing by office workers getting coffee on your way to the breakfast. The facilities of the hotel (restaurant, pool, gym, yoga) are all excellent. The yoga and the outstanding staff at the restaurant (The Post) were particularly great.

All in all this is probably the best city hotel I have stayed in.

Something very special. Our dinner at the Wildflower Restaurant was magnificent. We selected the Birak Tasting Menu with matching wines. The service was friendly and added to the evening, Alex the sommelier provided an excellent assessment of all the matching western Australian wines and his knowledge of the vineyards, their winemakers and their special techniques was astounding. The setting was perfect with the view over the Swan river and the setting sun. Each of the six courses was beautifully presented and full of wonderful flavours. It is a beautiful restaurant for special occasions and fully deserves their very high rating.
