Always a favorite for locals & tourists alike, this interactive science center will have you & your kids amused for hours. Don't be put off by the entrance price as you consider that this is easily 3_4 hours of interactive fun. There are also free science shows & all in all its a great fun education for both adults & kids. Free undercover parking is also a great bonus & a 3 minute drive from Watertown for some great retail therapy when you're done.
Came here with children aged 14 & 9. While they enjoyed some of the activities they soon got bored. The planetarium however was brilliant for all ages. The theatre was aimed at the very young.
This activity was great value for money, and suitable for all ages, there is something to entertain everyone in here, it would also be a great rainy day activity to keep kids amused, I particularly loved the visible bee hive.
I had a 3 year old recovering from surgery and a 6 year old to keep occupied. I was worried Scitech would be 'too old' for them but they had a lot of new exhibits I hadn't seen before that targeted the younger age bracket.
Still a costly outing if you cannot stay for hours, we managed to stay over 2 hours & it was tiredness that forced me to take them home, not boredom, but we saw almost everything. If they had been a little older and not tired we could have done a second lap.
Great resource to let kids learn science using hands-on exhibits and shows demonstrating science in an entertaining way.
