Grilled sandwich is great. But limited choice if you don't take beef and pork.
I took chili cheese grilled. The cheese tasted very nice. Picture here with cup of coffee.

Finding this shop requires you to walk into an unassuming and smelly alley and turning to the left will lead you to a graffiti-lined street. The first shop in sight is the one you are looking for. It is essentially a shop that operates out of what was supposed to be a garage. Toastie is not cheap but very delicious and coffee was superb. We enjoyed our short visit and breakfast there thoroughly and left with some memorable photos

A bit on the pricey side for a grilled cheese sandwich, but they were sooooo goooooood! The place is hidden in an alleyway so you'll need to go through the alley across the street from Taka.

Hidden in an alley at Grand Lane, just opposite Perth train station, this place is a must try in Perth. I don't know about you but I love the vegemite grilled cheese toast!

After reading so many good reviews, we decided to give a try for lunch with my wife and baby.
I can't believe how dirty is the place, how come people in Perth are leaving comments like that for such a place ?
It's so dirty that I don't even understand how the food inspection can leave it open.
There is hundreds of toasties stock up in an old and filthy fridge, there is dozen of flies around not due to the weather but the maintenance of the place.
You pay $9 a toastie that seats for days in the fridge and that is made of the cheapest processed food.
I'm a fan of street food and good sandwiches but come on, is it a street art and some plants growing in a old toaster making it trendy and great.
I still don't get how people can find the place nice, you can only see that in perth....
