We had a party of 6 so had a few different dishes and we all really happy, the portions were a good size and it tasted great. It was warm enough and pleasant atmosphere where we could hold a conversation without too much other noise issues. The service was generally really good, there was one grumpy older waitress but everyone has an off day. For the city the value for money was expected and we were all really happy.

The experience of being there was rather ruined by the fact that it was difficult to hear what anyone was saying due to the very high noise levels. To compensate for this, the food quality (and quantity) was good, particularly the chicken which was done in a way I had not seen before. A bit on the pricey side though. Good selection of drinks and very friendly and efficient service by the staff. A real pity about the noise levels. The place is good just for drinks on a cold evening, but I wouldn't go there for an intimate conversation.

Met this friend on the train from Sydney who had eaten there before so on his recommendation we went there, can be very noisy so hard to hear what is said, other than the noise the ambiance is good, the staff very friendly and attentive, I didn't like much on the menu till the waitress bought out the specials menu which had a chicken item which I ordered it was like a schnitzel but had Parma Ham & Gouda cheese layered inside and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese it was excellent, the meals here are not cheap but the servings are good and of excellent quality, they had some different wines on the list as well not sure if I would eat there again

Went here with my boyfriend for a date night. Very loud music, dark - unable to hear eachother speak. The menu didn't really have much choice but what we did order was lovely.
Have been here for drinks on nights out which always enjoy but don't think il be back for food !

The downstairs fire and bar are popular, we were first to sit upstairs for dinner one cool evening.
One very hard working waitress covered several tables with little help.
Food and drinks seemed expensive.
Bottle of sparkling water $8,glass of Starward Wine cask $16, Gnocchi main $30.
Nothing too special on a winter night.
