We happened upon this bar when out walking to look for somewhere to get a beer (& perhaps some food) soon after arriving in Perth off a long flight from the UK. We were just about the only people in the place, but were very impressed with the decor, music and service. We ended up both having soft shell crab to eat (delicious) and a few very welcome cold beers.
Highly recommended to fellow travellers.

I visited here on a city break with my teenage daughter. The food was great and the service was excellent. It was a Monday night so not overly busy, I can imagine that it becomes super busy at weekends.
Good decor, will bring the work colleagues back here for sure!

This is a little treasure tucked away in what looks like a back street in Perth and well worth a visit. If you want just a drink it's, the atmosphere is casual but trendy. Although tucked away it's likely to be a little slow outside of weekends and after office hours, so pick your time. Dinning is great! The service was very attentive and the food well worth the visiting. I recommend the desert plate as one of the best I have had in a while.

To the management
Well presented, great staff and your food was good.

Five of us guys had lunch and drinks there to celebrate Christmas and catch up after not seeing each other for about a year. We were met by a very friendly young lady that showed us to our table and, with other friendly staff, looked after us for the several hours we were there. The meals and drinks were all reasonably priced for a location in the heart of Perth CBD. Great atmosphere, informal table arrangements. The dinner and appetisers we ordered were very tasty and adequate in size. Can recommend this restaurant.

We visited here yesterday as part of a foodi tour, and had heard about the Stables, so was glad to have the opportunity to check it out.

We had the macaroni four cheese deep fried squares which were divine. Delicious. It was followed up by the zucchini salad which was interesting - had a nice sauce with grated and nuts.

There's a nice downstairs area as well as upstairs outside area. Great atmosphere and decor. Staff service was great.

Yes, I would eat here again.
