My partner and I visited Australia to see our friend and stayed at the riverview. The apartment was just what we needed.
The location of the apartments is 2 minutes walk from King's Park which is absolutely gorgeous, and around 5 minutes walk to the centre of Perth. Therefore the location is perfect.
We also ate breakfast at the restaurant which was amazing and due to eating there the first day we went every day after. You do need to book though because some days it can become very full.

Well located for this stay as I was going to work meeting at Fraser's Restaurant next morning. A comfortable room on 3rd level. Easy walk over freeway bridge to city restaurants. Hot shower. Easy check in. Parking on site. Recommend & will stay again.

Forget about boring chain hotels, this boutique accommodation offers convenience of city access, great service and all modern conveniences the savvy traveler would come to expect for a comfortable stay.

Renovated to modern and elegant stylings, this was once bachelors' accommodation in the 60's. We stayed 4 nights in a Standard Studio, with a private balcony and a well-equipped kitchenette. Not that we cooked at all with the convenience of city restaurants just minutes away. We also made sure to spend some time amongst greenery, and King's Park in the vicinity was just the ticket.

I didn't even realise the hotel is situated so close to the freeway, as our room (No. 111) was nice and quiet, well-placed away from the main street and away from the elevator, lobby and adjoined eatery.

The breakfast bar downstairs offers a diverse and inventive menu. What I ordered was without a doubt, the BEST meal I ate for under $20 in Perth!! It was a flavourful combination of pumpkin, potato hash, labneh dukka ball, crispy bacon, poached egg on rye bread topped off with pepitas. A-mazing. When we dined there on a weekday morning, the place was comfortably full with more locals than travellers - always a good sign.

There was only a minor annoyance, and that was the exhaust fan in the bathroom which was triggered by motion-sensor. This meant that the bathroom steamed up ridiculously if you were in the shower (the partition blocks the sensor) and stays damp the whole day. Additionally the sensor would be triggered in the middle of the night, when one is trying to be discreet, while using the toilet.

The hotel's professional and accommodating staff also let us keep our luggage at reception after we had checked out, but had to await a late flight. They also have an optional daily cleaning service (for an extra charge), which is great for low-fuss travellers like us. Overall, a brilliant stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the elevator and café if you prefer a quiet stay

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in this property. We would highly recommend a stay at this hotel. I read a lot of reviews and checked other hotels on the website as well and then took a calculated decision of booking this hotel. It turned out to be a really good decision, the deluxe studio was quite sufficient for a couple.

The kitchen is very well equipped with pots and pans to cook your own meals and plates and cutlery to enjoy the meal as well. The room was very clean and well maintained by the housekeeping staff. The Reception staff were professional and warm as well. Hotel has a self serve laundry and dryer as well.

The location is good enough to walk to the CBD in 5-10 minutes and really close to Kings Park as well.

For 98$ a night, I think it was worth the money spent and would definitely stay at the property again.

We Stayed for 7 nights, room was clean, kitchenette had all we needed, small balcony but was on the 1st floor with view of backyard (very unkept) of the building next door so didn't need to go out there. Fairly close to the freeway, but we did not hear any road noise. Staff where friendly and efficient. It is in easy walking distance to the CBD, buses and trains.
Negatives: not enough drawer space (room was for 3) only had 4 actual drawers. at present alongside the beds are tables with magazine rack, if replaced with drawers would be more practical. All cupboard doors need to have felt stoppers (to soften the close) on them as they slam hard and loud when let go.
BUT I would be very happy to stay there again on our next visit.
