Our room and bed was very comfortable. Perfect location in the heart of the CBD. Reception staff efficient and friendly. Breakfast downstairs was reasonably priced and well laid out. The bar was also a pleasant place to wait for friends.

I stayed here for one night on a work trip. The location is wonderful and it is located right in the centre of the city and only 20 mins drive from the airport.

The hotel is immaculate. My room was fresh, clean and I very modern and comfortable.

I ordered poached egg on toast and it was delicious and arrived still very hot.

I highly recommend this hotel for a city centre location.

Another great stay at the Holiday Inn. I always remove 1 star because there are no gym facilities in house but they do give you entry to snap fitness a few hundred meters up the road which is a great facility.

The service is always exceptional. The restaurant and bar are a great place to unwind and the food always excels. The morning takeaway coffee is to die for.

The rooms as as you would expect from a Holiday Inn comfortable, clean and most importantly your pillow menu... soft and firm options thank you very much.

The hotel is located in the middle of the business district. It’s a perfect business hotel if working within the city.

One tricky aspect is getting parking to check in. I was within seconds of being booked whilst trying to check in. Luckily the Holiday Inn staff noticed and ran out with me and saved the day. There are only a couple of spots and on more than 3 occasions I had to do couple laps to get a park to check in. The city needs to accomodate for this so I am not deducting away from my stay. It’s just a warning for others.

I’ll be back.

Check in was fast and simple and the room was very cozy specially ofter arriving from the warm north to a very cool city. The room was fresh and tasteful and if I have any complaints, it was that the curtains where very effective at shutting out the light...I slept in until 1100 hahahaha The staff were very friendly and quite helpful too.

Room Tip: pick rooms away from the lifts

The hotel has two wings - a renovated wing fronting on to Hay St and a newer wing at the rear. Both wings are tastefully furnished and have Wi Fi capability, The smallish lobby is more than adequate - as well as reception and concierge desks it has a kiosk furnished with computers for guests' use and a stylish sitting area. It connects to a very lively restaurant/bar , which is also popular with locals(that area was once a cinema).
Parking at the front of the property is only for short term but the hotel has access to a nearby car park for guests.Air crew stay here which is usually a sign of a quality hotel (they can be hard to please). The room I had at the rear was super quiet. This hotel doesn't really have views but compensates by being in the very middle of the CBD and handy to His Majesty s Theatre. For a central location it cannot be beaten. It probably could do with more elevators (which are very secure) but space would not allow it.

Room Tip: Rooms in the rear wing are quieter
