The Swan is quite a distinctive river. It's hugely wide in places, but extremely shallow, and mostly lined with parkland. Great dolphin-spotting. Unfortunately, you'll also see a lot of jellyfish when the tide comes in, but go on and put your feet in if you don't see any around - it's awfully refreshing on a hot day, and immaculately clean for an urban river.
