Gnangara is outside Perth but because we had a hired car we were able to get to Perth and to all our Family occasions in Perth without any bother whatsoever.
We were very near shopping areas. We loved them. Everything we needed in one place.
We had total privacy in Peacock Retreat. We appreciated that.
The Retreat had everything we needed.
Irene the owner was thoughtful and helpful. My husband had his mid-80ish Mother staying with us for 3 nights so the accommodation was perfect for our needs.
Very well presented, in a quiet rural setting. Very peaceful and relaxing.
Would definitely consider staying again.
Peacocks reach is a lovely house in a beautiful setting.Very peaceful and restful. Irene and Reiner the owners were very welcoming having left us a lovely basket of fruit.I can recommend this rental.
A spacious well furnished modern "cottage" overlooking bush and surrounded by beautiful native flowers and shrubs which attract local birds.
Everything was in first class order and the cooking facilities were excellent.
Our bedroom was equipped with a large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and several drawers. The bathroom with shower and toilet was roomy and clean and worked well. There was a modern washing machine and good drying area outside the cottage. There was two outside seating areas available for our use and outside parking was next to the cottage. The hosts , Irene and Reiner, were most hospitable and friendly. There is no public transport close by so a car is essential. That said the location is perfect for access to the city, to the north for the Pinnacles which are only a 2 hour drive away and east to the Swan Valley only 20 minutes away. Shopping malls and the beaches are also within a short drive.
The location is amazing. Nature walks in a nearby reserve and the Wanneroo markets is a 5 minute drive. Yanchep National Park and beach is 20 minutes away and the Joondalup Shopping Centre and Movies is a 10 minute drive. There is a lovely outdoor setting amongst the native surroundings with lots of birds.
