We visited Broome a few days ago (end of September) and it was really really hot. The temperature rose to almost 40 degrees Celsius at 8am and wouldn’t drop until after sunset.
We visited Gantheaume point at low tide to see the dinosaur footprints. It was around 4pm which wasn’t too far from sunset. The rocks were really pretty in golden sunlight. Kids enjoyed this place as they climbed up and down and it wasn’t too long before we found the dinosaur footprints. Watching the sunset was amazing as the sky turned red and purple.
Tips: check low tide, wear sturdy shoes, drink lots of water, be sun smart, invest a good camera!More
