AOC bus took us to South Cable Beach where a dinghy transferred us out to our Whale Watching ship. Nicole, our on-board marine biologist, was our host and she soon had us enthralled in all things humpback. Our group charter had the privilege of seeing four whales in action thanks to the talented crew that kept us moving to ensure all shutterbugs had their "fix" of prime viewing. Our two sons were given stickers, information/ colouring in sheets. As the whales moved around us, our younger son looked at the sheets. Softdrinks, water and light refreshments included in the price as well as a sunset voyage back to waiting AOC bus at South Cable Beach to take us back to our accommodation. N.B. By the way, prepare to get wet along the way! Great value!

This company came very highly recommended by our hotel for Whale Watching and they certainly did not disappoint. We were picked up from our accommodation driven to a local beach, met by the Marine Biologist and ferried out by a run about to the main boat. Once on board we were given information about the whales and other marine life that we would hope to see. Our children were well catered for and all their questions answered brilliantly. All the staff on board were very friendly and knowledgeable. Soft drinks, water, tea and coffee along with light refreshments were also offered. We were lucky enough to see 4 very playful whales the day we went out and I would highly recommend the 3 hour sunset cruise (which is what we did) as it is spectacular to see the sun setting over the ocean as you head back into shore.

Without a doubt the best day fishing. The Skipper Mick went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great day fishing and that everyone caught something. We ended up staying out much later than originally planned. The rest of the boat crew were fantastic also, more than happy to help everyone out with anything needed. Morning tea, lunch, soft drinks and water supplied for the day. Would love to return to Broome and wouldn't think twice about going with AOC. Great bunch of people and a well run day out fishing.

Apart from my little stint of sea sickness, I went fishing with a friend of mine, and all the boys were super, super, ridiculously helpful. Really friendly, and just willing to talk things through with you If you don't have a clue.
The fishing was freaking amazing. My arms are killing me today because of pulling up a few big ones :)
I've been on a few charters in Melbourne aswell, and these boys blow them out of the water.
Good work fellas!!!

Over the years, we've done day fishing trips in Queensland, South Australia, NSW, Hawaii (maybe other places) although we are really freshwater anglers at home. This was the best.

Our day, a Tuesday, was cloudy after rain the previous day, and there was a considerable swell. None of that detracted from the well-organised experience we had. There was a total of 15 fishers, including three women (who felt comfortable amongst the males), and no pressure for space or food. Continuous snacks and drinks, and a sandwich-making buffet at lunchtime with a wide choice of meats, breads and fillings.

We caught lots of fish. The expectation is for bottom-fishing over the outlying reefs, but this is combined with some trolling, two rods at a time. We hit on schools of 'Spanish mackerel', feisty game fish that gave a good thrill to landing them. Taking turns, everyone on board landed at least one. The stationary reef fishing was very productive with a wide variety, the most common being 'reds' (red bream, or schnapper). We all got to take home as much fish as we wished.

The skipper and crew were very professional. Michael, the Captain, was knowledgeable, welcoming and helpful. His crew, Beau and Andy, could not have been more attentive and were extremely hard-working. On the steam home, both young men scrubbed the deck, gunwales, tackle and fish deck with good effect (one guest offered them a job at his company ).

Highly recommend this company for a good day out.
