The excellent craft Reef Explorer crewed by the wonderful people of Kimberley Expeditions carried us from Geraldton to Broome on the North Western Australian coast. We sailed via The Abrollhos, Steep Point and Dirk Hartog Island in Shark Bay, Exmouth and Ningaloo, Monte Bellos Islands and Rowley Shoals.
Experiences included diving on the Batavia wreck, swimming with whale sharks, diving on magnificent coral reefs at all locations. The underwater sealife is uncomparable with anywhere I have previously visited. Fresh fish and crayfish caught daily by the guests were served the same day for our delicious meals. Weathger and sea conditions beautiful and the WA coast stunning.
I will be back!

Unique opportunity to visit isolated islands and reefs of WA, with stops at places of historical and natural significance. Lovely and enthusiastic crew, exceptional food, exciting fishing and wonderful diving.
I travelled on my own, and found my fellow adventurers to be great company.
The boat is comfortable and well appointed - cabins are compact, but not expected to be grand.

We must have been on a different cruise from all these reviews, first the food from very tasty to just not enough , only one choice for the evening meals, take it or go hungry if you do not like what is offered, Ie fish stew pie served with only 6 chips, yes 6, I must have been lucky my wife only got 5, or on another night 4 tasty meat balls with salad only, it could have been great if cream potatoes and peas were served as well, I felt that some of the meals were fit for Jenny Craig diets but on the flip side all meals were beautifully presented, then on one day, that the seas were rough, for the many passenger that were not sea sick no meals were cooked for lunch, only left overs soup and pizza from the previous day. Cabins were only just serviced, bed made up but sheets not changed during the entire cruise. Enough about my winging Most of the crew staff were fantastic, helpful, always smiling and making every efforts to make the cruise happy especially the cruise director
before booking this cruise Broome to Darwin we were painted by the owners a wonderful picture of what to expect on the cruise but sadly it did not deliver. many parts were wonderful but it did not deliver to what was promised,
I will never recommend this cruise to any foodies (food lovers) and compared to large cruise line this is way too expensive for the comfort and service provided

Thank you for your feedback - we are always looking for ways to improve and can only get better by listening to our guests.

Just in response to your comments: The bed sheets get changed every three days, but if sheets look dirty or soiled at anytime they are changed, likewise towels are renewed whenever needed. We carry a full boat change of linen for four changes if necessary and also have three, brand new, large washers and dryers on board so we are always happy to change sheets on request.

I am sorry you felt the portion sizes were too small. If anyone wants more food it is always there. We don’t place any limits on the amount we serve to our guests.

We don't compare to one of the large cruise ships - our experience is very different. We offer adventure cruising for small numbers of guests who are looking for a more personal experience. Our smaller vessel is perfect for exploring the Kimberley region. We are confident that the level of comfort, service and overall experience we provide offers guests excellent value for money and the vast majority of our reviews support this.

Again, thanks for the feedback we are pleased that the crew made the cruise a happy one but we are sorry your experience with us was not more fulfilling for you.
