I had booked this accommodation ahead of our trip because Broome was so popular and we didn't want to get caught out. Because we were travelling in a small Britzy we were given a spot on the cliff overlooking the beach and as it turned out this was probably the best spot in the park so no complaints here. We had read the reviews on the park and there had been issues with theft so we spoke to the staff when we checked in and they have a huge permanent population at the park and if you leave anything lying around they may pick it up on there walk. This was not a problem to us because we just wouldn't leave anything valuable lying around, we asked about our cords and water hoses and they didn't see there would be an issue. We were happy with their response and checked in and drove to our site. It really was a great park the amenities were dated but not the worst we had seen our biggest problem was that one day we came back from visiting Broome and our electrical cord was missing so I went to the office to report it and they laughed at me, not the reaction I was expecting. We eventually found the cord lying around the park but we were disappointed in the staff reaction to our issue. There was a market just up from us on the Thursday night which we enjoyed and there is a cafe overlooking the bay that has excellent coffee so all in all we enjoyed our stay.

An older caravan park located on the edge of Broome (walking distance or near to bus stop) with a mixture of short term and long term/permanents sites. Some of the permanent sites are in need of a clean up / or a bulldoze! Has BBQs located above the shore with views over Roebuck Bay. Next to the Town Beach boat ramp and nice beach. Bathrooms are basic but clean, with good water pressure. Beachfront campsites are pricey but sites further back more reasonably priced. Most sites have shade.
Avoid being located near the Backpacker campsite adjacent to the rear of this park unless you like loud late night music.

$62/night powered site for two adults in off peak season? Ripoff. The park has some ocean front sites with amazing views but the sites themselves are below basic. Dusty and dry, covered in fallen leaves, no slab and no attempt at all to keep the area tidy or green. Twice I found the men’s toilet filthy with three out of five cubicles blocked up once and four out of five another time. Locals wander through the area looking in cars and even having their running domestics as they pass through. Backpackers from adjoining camping area using the laundry and leaving machines unplugged. The first Discovery Park I would not recommend.

Room tip: Use another caravan park.

Wonderful location overlooking the water. Amenities very old and dated..showers not adjustable so water almost hits the back of the door so there is no dry space to dress. NO POOL ??? Disappointing as you can’t swim when tide is 1klm out...

Thanks for fitting us in.
Lovely park. Friendly staff and service. Ian was nice and showed us to our site.
Right on the bay so pretty watching tides.
Amenities need upgrading but water pressure is good and hot.
Great spot really. Quiet even though its school holidays.
Def recommend
