We chose this park due to its location. It is the only park in 'old' Broome and is central, very much on the water. The sites are quite large so you don't feel that you are parked on top of one another. The amenities are old and a little tired but certainly adequate and kept clean. Our site was not on the water but we were only 1 row back so certainly easy access. The front office staff were very friendly when we needed anything so have no problems recommending this park to any RV traveler.

Worst Caravan Park I've been to.
Taking advantage of the location and tourist season.
Showers sprayed water straight out to the door so everything gets wet.
Very basic and old ammenities.
Pack in the tents along the fence line almost spilling onto the road and all on dirt. Sinks that just pour water onto you feet if you wash up in them.
They put a handrail in the middle of the path just making it more difficult to use.
Good black water point.
Large dumpy long term area.
Nice if you get a place on grass near the water otherwise go somewhere else.

Great location, staff nice, the amenities old but clean. While we were sleeping someone came into our camper and stole cash. We'd been warned but these thieves are efficient. Lock it up or lose it! Suggest you stay elsewhere and travel to see Stairway to the Moon.

Stayed here for three nights in May for the Staircase to the moon. Had a powered caravan site right on the water (c9) It was a beautiful spot..during the day. All 3 nights we were there, we had random people who weren't even guests at the park randomly coming into our camp and sitting IN OUR CAMP to watch the moon, and then the second night we had two local drunks pretty much pass out on the grass right next to our truck. When we advised the front desk of this and said maybe they should consider a fence, bar, something to keep the people out, they acted like they didn't care.
The rest of the stay was great. Clean facilities, good location. Liked it enough to stop back through 2 weeks later. Not such a great experience then. We tried calling a few hours ahead of our arrival to see if there was availability and no one ever answered the phone. When we arrived, the lady working at the desk was standing outside smoking while the phone was ringing, so at least we knew why our call wasn't being answered. We were assigned a spot for our roof top tent and when we finally found it, we were in the middle of tent city, and there was a huge tree branch completely preventing us from putting up the rooftop tent. We asked about moving to new spot and were told that was all that was left. As we tried to make it work, we discovered our power box was located in our neighbors camp and they had placed a fence and bushes around it. (obviously permanent residents) We insisted we move or we were leaving and she found us a new spot which ended up being lovely.
So I guess my conclusion is that the caravan park is great, the customer service isn't. Oh, and watch out for the sliding glass door in the office. Someone slid it open and there is a sharp white bar that completely cut into my foot. I still have a bad cut. And again, they didn't care.

The park is on the beach and a great spot from which to appreciate the Staircase to the Moon. Security fencing would detract from the idyllic setting but sadly one day it may be necessary. People from within the park who are not fortunate enough to have a waterfront site flock to vantage points for the 20 minutes or so duration of the staircase. We do not have control of the beach or drunks wandering up from the beach. They would have been removed quickly if reported.
By late May the park was very close to full and shady spots are popular. Unfortunately in this case the vehicle and roof top tent did not have sufficient clearance and another spot was found, probably by moving another booking but we cannot check that now.
The sliding door is of a standard design and the only way the injury could have occurred was if the person was backed right onto the sliding door which can happen when the little office is jam-packed. Of course, we are concerned about the welfare of our customers but the staff would have been under pressure dealing with an office full of people and trying to clear the congestion.

We (a couple) booked a waterfront site for four nights on a recent visit to Broome. The site was large and faced the Bay, grassy, with lovely vistas of the sea. Sea breeze meant that we did not need to use our air conditioner the whole time we were there, despite warm days. The park is about 5 minutes drive from town and Cable Beach. The amenities were adequate - a little dated, but nevertheless quite ok. One can walk from one end of the caravan park to the other at low tide on the sand which we did every morning. There is also a restaurant on the site offering light meals several days a week. The restaurant is al fresco with lovely views of the bay from most seating. There is also a bay where you can wash your vehicle. We would highly recommend the Caravan Park to any discerning traveller.
