Description: It's not just food at Delhi Streets, it's a spectacle as well. With the authentic flavours of Indian street food and the vibrant energy of the markets, Delhi Streets brings a new delicious dining experience, sure to surprise and excite the senses. In India, families don't go to restaurants for dinner, instead they say to each other, "Chai pani" - "Let's go out to eat,' and to the markets they will go. Rather than just a few dishes, one meal is made up from a bevy of delicious options, from savoury snacks and filling roti's, to sweet Gulam Jamun, one meal consisting of many items. At Delhi Streets, we're taking just some of our favourites and bringing the experience to Melbourne in it's entirety, with traditional flavours and all the flair. India lives and eats on its streets, and our cooking and energy pays homage to that, bringing the flavours that we miss from our hometown to our new home to share. Have a snack, or eat a full meal, but just give it a go!

Definitely a must. One we ticked off the bucket list. We love the food and have been back a few times since, I recommend booking prior, it gets busy here.

Arrived in the peak of lunchtime rush and luckily I was solo and waited half an hour to get a seat.
The food was delicious and the thali came very quickly. I also tried the Pani Puri which was cold, crispy and the accompanying spice water was very spicy. My mouth was singing at the end of the meal.
Very popular with the locals but you can book a table.
By the end of the lunch hour rush it had quietened down some.
The staff were very friendly and the service quick. Will definitely be back.

Found this Indian food experience and been back twice in the last week.
We are visitors to Melbourne but have already spoken to locals re this place.
The staff are courteous even tho very busy.
People line up to get in for a meal but it is worth it.
Great food at very reasonable prices.
You not be disappointed in visiting here as it is very authentic.
We find restaurant staff in Melbourne generally are so helpful and professional, but that also is helped by the courteous way we ate to them.

Delhi Streets was recommended in a lot of food blogs that I went thru. The place was really small, and it was super packed during lunch time hence we had to wait for around 15 mins. The interior of the restaurant was so nicely done, it had this cozy feeling, the walls were filled with movie posters so I loved it! Their menu was quite complete and looked super tempting, hence we ordered chicken biryani, the lamb thali and tandoori pizza, we had Limca and mango lassi for drinks.
The lamb thali was super duper delicious, I enjoyed the spices and the lamb also was well cooked and tender. Chicken Biryani and tandoori pizza were equally tasty, having such yummy food on a cold afternoon was exactly what we needed. The price range is considered to be mid to high, and despite of having such a huge crowd, we were served well! I’m definitely coming back for more when I visit Melbourne!
