Where is the info book?!

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 2 July 2019via mobile
Great location in the city with the oldest pub in Melbourne just 2 doors down. Facilities are great but there is no signage! Nothing to tell you what floor the pool and gym is on. I saw on the website there is a complimentary cinema however there was no information saying it needed to be booked to use.
The parking to actually check in is very tricky too! None out the front. I parked in the aldi underground carpark which is free if you spend $30.
The 2 bedroom apartment is terrific value and views are amazing but I needed a bit of communication to make my trip with 3 kids a bit easier. Even getting up to the 30th floor in the lift was a challenge being as no one informed us that we needed to scan the tag to enable the floor number to stay on.

Booked a 1-bedroom apartment for 3 nights and we were so lucky to be bumped up to a 2-bedroom with a bigger common area. Has everything you need - WiFi (tended to be a bit slow sometimes but we had our own mobile data so that was alright), kitchen, washing machine + dryer.

We enjoyed using the gym as well. We had such a great stay!

Location was really ideal too. Walking distance to the train station and CBD area. Also love the fact that Aldi is just next door.

Would return to stay again if I'm in Melbourne!

My wife and I traveled to Melbourne to enjoy a family 50th, however were extremely disappointed with the standard of the 2 bedroom deluxe apartment at the Milano. We stayed at the same location 3 years ago and the standards have certainly deteriorated, especially room cleanliness and standards. We were greeted with significant stains on the curtains, stained tea towels, no handle on the tap in the bathroom and a poor standard of cleanliness. A serious safety concern is present in the lounge with a missing smoke alarm. 4 adults are sharing the apartment and cosy is a subtle way to describe the small bedrooms. There is limited space to move around the room let alone place your suitcase. The main room has a small cupboard, which provides some hanging space only. The standard of furniture is poor with uncomfortable lounge seats and unstable lounge chairs. The apartments celebrate mediocre standards with a reference to receiving 8.2 out of 10 from a booking site upon entering reception. We were extremely disappointed and will not be returning until standards become a priority for their guests. PS - buy some cups with handles so u don’t have guests scolding their hands on the ceramic.

We understand that by comparison to the complimentary upgrade to a 2 bedroom /2 bathroom apartment that you received on your last visit 3 years ago, the apartment type that you booked for your current stay seems considerably smaller.

Whilst we always try our utmost to deliver a high level of guest satisfaction, we are not always in a position to offer complimentary upgrades as per your request whilst in house. However, you were offered a relocation to an alternative two bedroom one bathroom apartment, same as you booked, which you regretfully declined, choosing to stay in your current apartment for the remainder of your stay unless you received a complimentary upgrade to a two bed two bath apartment. regardless of the concerns you outlined with your current apartment.

We hope that you will reconsider and stay with us in the future, as you are a valued guest. Unfortunately your reluctance to relocate to an alternative apartment except for an complimentary upgrade, which was not available on this occasion did not allow us to alleviate your concerns.

Stayed two nights at a 2 bedroom executive apartment. Accommodation is well-maintained and equipped with all the essentials. Location is few minutes walk from Queen Victoria Market and tram stop (within free tram service zone). ALDI supermarket is located just next door. Highly recommended for anyone who are visiting Melbourne city!

Room tip: Higher floors have better views of the city

Booked through Agoda, a 2 bedroom deluxe apartment for 4 nights (for 2 adults and 1 child). I did request a ‘quiet’ room, but our room was at the front of the building, and there are train tunnel works right out the front, which start early and are very noisy. First room offered only had one key available, and as we were going out separately several times, and they couldn’t locate the other key (a security concern for me), I asked for a room with two keys. We were allocated room 1005, and unfortunately it smelt, very badly (I’m really not sure what of, but perhaps some heavy oil cooking - it had permeated everything). There were problems with the shower - one person had to hold the shower-bath selection button in so the other could bathe with two hands; and there was no plug in the bath, so the bath itself was unusable. The next morning we asked to move to a room that didn’t smell, and staff happily moved us to room 1106. But I don’t think it was the same standard of room; it was definitely smaller. This time the plug was missing from the bathroom basin (they are the pop-up type, so I assume they were broken). The bathrooms are Jack and Jill style, and are quite small. Missing from this room were the Foxtel remote and hairdryer, but staff happily brought those when requested. My daughter enjoyed the pool and spa. The lifts were fast. The Aldi next door was very convenient. Tram about 100m away (Swanson Street).

Had the 2 bedroom apartment and found it to be clean, modern and comfortable. The pool is a good size and the spa is lovely.
Nice location close to queen victoria markets. A fair bit of construction going on around it but nothing noisy at night time.
The cinema area was really cool and the kids loved it... free to use just make sure you book it in advance, same as the bbq areas.
