“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 20 March 2017

The historic Block Arcade is definitely a place to be visited on a stroll along beautiful Collins Street. Having recently been restored to its Victorian glory, this CBD jewel features a unique, high glass canopy, impressive stonework and an array of interesting small shops. This place is on the must visit list in Melbourne.

“Interesting arcade in the centre of Melbourne”

Went here to find Chocamama to buy sweets to take back as gifts. I ended up with Eucalyptus rolls and giant choc orange plus Aussie liquorice all sorts.

“Stunning architecture, quality shopping.”
Reviewed 19 March 2017

While exploring the CBD with my friend on a recent visit to Melbourne, we wandered into the Block Arcade and felt like we had stepped back in time.

What a beautiful arcade. I can't think of a better way to spend time than walking through this arcade, absorbing the atmosphere that the stunning architecture provides then popping into the exquisite speciality stores and buying that special item to take home with you.

“Draws the eyes upward”
Reviewed 18 March 2017 via mobile

A lovely old shopping arcade that draws your eyes upwards to the beautiful ceiling.

There is also a row of cafes in an alleyway connected to it to rest your legs for a little while.
