I would recommend the visit when there's an exhibit which may appeal.

I went with a friend for the Wallace and Grommit exhibit last year. It was incredible. The detail of each piece on display, including the moving images, and the interactive DIY bit at the end... it was a perfect end to my very short Melbourne visit.

we went here to see the wallace and gromit exhibition and it was great. so many things to see, real life models from the films, so much explanation. its a really nice space for an exhibition - done really well. after this, which we paid for, theres a moving image area which was all for free. you get really good bang for your buck here, and could spend hours here! :)

This is a great addition to Melbourne and the arts. I saw the Aardman exhibition here and was fortunate enough to meet the creators, Peter Lord and David Sproxton during a talk that they were doing at the exhibition. Melbourne you've done well by adding this to Federation Square.
