This theatre is such a beautiful theatre in the heart of Melbourne. We have been here many times to see a show. The staff are friendly and very professional, helping to guide you through your theatre experience with a minimum of fuss. We saw the Harry
Potter Show which was brilliant, one of the draw backs was that the merchandise shop is a small area up one end which is hardly big enough to accommodate the large numbers of people wanting to purchase things, with extremely long lines. The other draw back on the lower level the ladies bathrooms are not very big and so there are long waits to use them. So much so that at the interval my friend still hadn't been in after spending the entire time standing in line. But at least they had a staff person directing people and ensuring the lines ran smoothly. You were able to pre order drinks and snacks for the interval so you didn't have to waste your time standing in line, which was very helpful, but the prices were over the top expensive. Two glasses of wine and two small Pringles cost $38. The seats are comfortable and the views of the stage were good. Definitely a great place to see a show.
