The good: Location, friendly staff, rooms were clean.
The bad: Expensive for level of hotel (no fitness centre or in-hotel room service, it's all charge-back from adjoining restaurants and VERY expensive), some rooms have no view at all.
The ugly: Stayed 2 x nights, after returning from an overseas trip for work and on both mornings (which I was hoping to be able to catch up on sleep and reset a little), I was woken at 8am to the sound of hammer drills on the shared wall to my room with maintenance workers drilling into concrete. The sound was intermittent and went on from 8am through to at least 10am when I got up and left the hotel for some peace and quiet. I understand the need for maintenance but there's plenty of options like timing it for the middle of the day, and perhaps WARNING people that maintenance is being undertaken, and perhaps putting people into rooms that don't have a wall sharing the same as that which maintenance is being conducted.
I've travelled a lot for m\work in the last 15 years or so and for a hotel in this location, at this price point, you expect a LOT more than this.
