Reception staff were helpful, rooms were clean and well appointed, motel located in a good area - close to the city centre. Discount parking available. 7/11 store downstairs is conveniently located. Will definitely stay again

Fantastic cheap hotel right in the centre of Melbourne. Staff were fantastic and the rooms are very clean. Ideal place to stay if traveling for business. Few minutes walk to restaurants and crown precinct.

This place is just a genuine, comfortable hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. I love that it is a short walk to the SkyBus drop off/pick up (great for getting to and from the airport) and super close to the Arts Centre and NGV. A wonderful, cultural district. There were great breakfast options and the overall feel of the hotel was welcoming and comfortable. I particularly liked the little kitchenette in the room. It really had everything we needed.

Second time we've stayed here. This is a well priced hotel in a great hotel and location and walking distance to the CBD or Crown Casino. Very friendly and efficient staff. Very comfy beds. Would definitely stay again.

I spent 2 nights at the Travelodge for a work trip and could not fault the staff, my room or the breakfast buffet. I live in Eden, NSW and the Travelodge Southbank will always be my first choice when I have clients to visit in Melbourne.

An inexpensive, convenient place to stay while visiting Melbourne. Good location for cafes and places to eat or meet friends for coffee. Was able to walk to the Theatre for the Ballet. Clean room, but had two large beds when I only required one! Also had a window, but the view was the building next door. Was disappointed with the hot food at breakfast, dry tasteless scrambled eggs and overcooked bacon.
