Great location, close to train station, walking distance to Bourke Street Mall. Good apartment with kitchen and laundry facilities. Due to Easter weekend apartments did not receive a daily service. Staff were friendly.

Staff were not helpful and didn't not assist with the set up of a porta cot and the room was not serviced regularly. I know it was the easter break but room was serviced one day in 6 nights, following a complaint.

We had a lovely stay here. Kids had a huge bed and so did we. The whole apartment was wonderfully quiet yet located right in the middle of everything. We love coming here where we know we will have a stove, oven, microwave, washer and dryer. All the things you need on a holiday. We will keep coming back.

We were not informed about the fee for parking.
The staff were unpleasant.
The room was disgusting - scratched walls, holes in walls, mould in bathrooms, generally not clean.
The elevator had cardboard around it with duct tape. My children were too scared to go into the elevator. We had to wait for the 'normal' one.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking time to write a feedback.

We are sorry to read that you couldn't enjoy your stay due to several reasons.

Our hotel is going through the full renovation & yes we do understand that it is not yet up to great expectation. Lift 2 is being used by the contractors & boards are there for lift protection. I hope you do understand. ( we have only 2 lifts for 72 apartments)

I am not sure how your booking was made. if it was a direct or 3rd party booking, you may find charges on your paperwork for additional request such as parking, sofa beds etc.

It seems team has failed to deliver their excellent guest service which they usually deliver to all our guests.

Thank you for staying with us. Sorry about your experience.

Kind Regards,
G.K.Serasinghe

Here is a true verified review of my stay at the Quest on William, stayed here over the Easter Long Weekend in a '2' bedroom apartment which was sold as a serviced apartment and featuring Foxtel, on arrival there was a sign at reception saying no housekeeping until Easter Tuesday... so serviced apartment now become invalidated, no advance notice. TV only has local channels, asked about the advertised Foxtel and reception knew nothing about it, 2nd bedroom had no windows, more of a closet. Noise is a a significant issue as no double glazing so if you must come here bring earplugs. Parking is $40 per night which would be expensive in Los Angeles or Honolulu, let alone Melbourne! Room was bland and featureless, 2 glasses, 4 wine glasses and 6 mugs? huh? So I travel every week for work and stay a lot of the time at Meritons which cost half the rate of this Quest and the quality is just so much better, if Meriton ever comes to Melbourne, places like this will be in serious trouble. Overall everything seems slap dash and half baked, looking forward to getting home

Dear wilrc1,

Thank you for taking time to write a feedback.

As per our record, i do believe that you stayed in room 1105. Checked in on Saturday & Checked out on Monday. I hope housekeeping did not affect much as you were here for 2 nights only. Generally there is no housekeeping on Sunday. Nevertheless, we always happy to provide extra guest amenities, towels as per the note displayed at the reception. This is free of charge.

We are sorry if you did not like our 2 bedroom standard apartment. I will request housekeeping team to double check all glass ware in the room as it need to have minimum 4 set of each.

Parking- We will be one of the cheapest options for parking in Melbourne hotels. Usually rates for parking in CBD hotels from $45- $55 overnight. Please note we have only 17 parking spots for 72 apartments. I hope you do understand.

Our hotel is going through the full renovation. We feel that our guests will enjoy staying in our new apartments in the future.

We are sorry if we did not meet your expectation.

Thank you.
Kind Regards,
G.K.Serasinghe
