The location and staff are great, but the bathrooms are filthy and the bed configuration not right despite calling to ensure it would be. The TV remotes didn't work and neither did one lift making it a slow wait for the one that did.

Stayed for one night with a group of friends, in the 3 bedroom 3 bathroom apartment. The apartment itself is huge, we had three massive balconies and most of the apartment size is in the living / kitchen areas rather than bedrooms. The view from the balcony is pretty sweet.

There’s only two apartments on the whole floor so you have a bit of privacy. The only reason I’m giving it an ‘average’ rating is because it wasn’t cleaned properly. I spilled water in the kitchen and cleaned it and the dirt that I cleaned was definitely not from just one day - it was filthy. My white socks came out of it super dirty just from walking around on the carpet.

Check-in was easy, though I couldn’t get through to reception via our in-room phone. Seems the extension didn’t work, and the number they had listed online had connection issues too, so we never got the WiFi password. We also managed to lose one of our three lift passes, and reception were great about it when we were checking out. Great service, thanks!

But for the price we paid for a 3Bed, 3Bath apartment in the middle of Melbourne’s CBD it’s actually hard to beat.

A central very convenient situation and our 13th floor apartment was very well appointed with great views across the city and River Yarra with the bay in the distance. For some people the sound of the trains could be a problem at night, particularly on the lower floors, but it didn't worry us.

I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with a park view, in February for 8 days. We were located in Apartment #3 which had a large balcony that overlooked the park and the downtown area. This hotel is in a good central location in Melbourne, close to federation square and walking distance to most sights. It is easy to get to south Melbourne from this location, plus all the sights that are in North Melbourne. It is convenient that there is kitchen facilities and this unit had a washer dryer combination all in one machine. The room we were in was quite large, it was sparsely decorated and was fairly clean. The carpet was a bit dated looking but still reasonably clean. Downstairs at the hotel there is an IGA express small grocery store that carries most items that you would need. Prices were in line with the Woolworths down the road near federation square. There was also a bottle shop around the corner so that you could buy any spirits, wine or beer. The room was serviced daily and the staff were attentive and replaced any items that were used. The room was supposed to come with internet service but the free service had a 100 megabyte download ceiling and ran at a slow 1 megabyte per second which is pretty useless. We opted to upgrade to the faster unlimited service which was priced at 9.99 per day or 34.95 for 7 days. This upgraded package was well worth the added cost it provided a 12 megabyte per second download speed and a 7 megabyte per second upload speed which was great for streaming and to upload videos taken during our tours. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful at the front desk. There were only a few negative things about the hotel. The tv reception was not great, some of the stations were a bit snowy. The tv in the living room had better reception than the one in the bedroom. The room was clean but the dishes and the cutlery in the room were not clean. There were some cutlery that had dried food on it and so did a couple of the plates. We ran all the dishes through the dishwasher but the dishwasher was difficult to load as the racks were a strange design and it took a few tries to try and figure out the setting so it would run through a cycle. The refrigerator worked great for the first 6 days of our stay but then the refrigerator compartment got warm and the freezer was still freezing. By the time we realized there was a problem, it was our last day and decided not to complain about it. The washer dryer combo machine took forever to do a load of laundry over 4 hours to do one load. The key provided for the room was a standard metal mechanical key on a giant plastic key fob which was cumbersome to carry around in your pocket. I really wish places like this would go to a plastic credit card type of key. Even with the shortcomings the stay was pleasant as the location was good and I would stay here again if I ever come back to Melbourne.
