This is a very good property, well located just around the corner from Swanston St, 5 mins easy walk from Melbourne Central and 15-20 mins from the Town Hall.
Overall, the property has a fresh and lively feel to it
I was given a 1 br apartment which was great value for money - plenty of space, very comfortable, well appointed, well maintained.
The bed and pillows were both great bed, and the room was quiet also, so I got some good sleep (not often the case in a city hotel).
The restaurant was undergoing renovation, but the alternative setup in a function room was just fine, and plenty of guests were using it.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I ended up here because I had to make a late booking - I commonly stay at the Swanston Grand Mercure - but I was certainly not disappointed in any way to have been at the Ibis.
All in all, a very satisfying experience which was great value for money.
Highly recommended in its class
