Went to see Star Wars on the weekend and IMAX did not disappoint. If you are a Star Wars fan this is the best place to see it. Laser projection, huge IMAX screen, 3D, excellent sound. Just as Star Wars should be seen.
The new seating is great. Regular seats look very comfortable. We went for the "Premium Blue VIP" seats in the back row and it was fantastic to recline and put your feet up. Well worth it.

If you want to see a movie at its best then IMAX is the one . Came down to Melbourne for Star Wars and it didn't disappoint . Only criticism is that weren't set up for the large Star Wars crowds wanting snacks as the queues were a bit too long so I didn't bother . Otherwise getting in and watching easy and stress free and staff were polite .

Came here to see Spectre on my trip to Melbourne, and it was great. Quality cinema, quality food and drinks, quality facilities and an enjoyable experience. I bought a ticket for the premium seats. For an extra $10 you get back row centre seats with cup holders and essentially an electric laz-y-boy. Do it.

When we went to see Under the Sea at a 10am session there were 8 people in total. But when people brought their tickets we were told to sit in the seats allocated. That wouldnt have been too bad except we were all put side by side with no gaps between us. We ended up moving same as another couple but with the whole cinema free it makes you wonder why they put everyone together. But the actual IMAX footage itself was fantastic so will go back again on that part.
