Top QPR!

The location of the Pan Pacific is great if you don’t need to stay in the CBD, as it’s an easy walk to many places of interest and public transport.
As a GHA Discovery Titanium member, I was given a very generous room upgrade and a number of welcome amenities. My pre-stay confirmation email was answered promptly and all requests were granted.
The panoramic suite, which has to be the best room in the house, is very comfortably furnished, has lots of storage space and offers magnificent views of the fabulous city skyline and the Yarra River.
The Pacific Club Lounge is of considerable size with a number of places to sit and relax whilst enjoying all day snacks and beverages. In the evening, there is an ample selection of hot and cold canapes plus a good choice of drinks.
Buffet breakfast, in the restaurant, is excellent with a great variety of offerings to suit all tastes, as well as a juice machine and an ice cream stand.
All members of staff: front of house, reception, housekeeping and waitstaff in the restaurant and club lounge are exemplary, being both friendly and professional.
Excellent quality/price ratio.

Good for the location

Nice well appointed rooms with a good bathroom, separate shower and bath. The breakfast is very good for a hotel not in Asia. The staff were all very friendly and I would lik eto thank them for allowing us an early check-in. After an overnight flight it was appreciated and unexpected.
There are some good and some average restaurants in the area. Some of the pubs are overly touristy.
The hotel is about a 10 min walk to the Crown casino and 35 min walk to the city.
The Pan Pacific Mel is comfortable, quiet and friendly. Just dont bother to try the GHA loyalty program which is none of these

Lovely place to dine and stay

Attended a work meeting here the staff were wonderful and the facilities were very clean. The food menu was decent and arrived quickly and was fresh good quality I would definitely return and prefer to stay longer next time to enjoy more of the views and good hospitality

Excellent

I stayed at pan pacific for a few days for travelling and it was amazing. The room was good , with city view . The breakfast was good , with friendly staff , i lobe the fresh juice part , we can make make by oyr self. Special thanks to dita from your friendly services.

Could be better

Check in was a breeze and Elizabeth was great. Explained the benefits of being a gold customer and lounge an access. Room was absolutely brilliant with views over the Yarra and Melbourne city. The lounge is the one item that let our stay down. From the lady filling her pockets with jams to the gent from Moe who had around 6 double bourbons in the hour that we spent in the lounge on Saturday evening. Breakfast was adequate with limited seating and options. The wait for coffee took longer than actually eating breakfast. Would certainly check other options when we next stay in town.
