Dined here on Good Friday. Opted for the early sitting and were glad we did as having been up since 0345 for an early flight we were both exhausted. Portions here are large so don’t do what we did and over order on the starters as we could only eat half our mains. We felt really bad as the food was delicious but they let us takeaway the leftovers! The picks for us were the Greek meatballs and the pork skewers. The pork was super tender and really tasty!

We visited Urban Greek for dinner and were really impressed. The staff were polite and attentive, offering great service.
Our food arrived in a timely manner (but not too quickly between courses) and was delicious! Great ambience!

The vegetarian options here are really good. The humus with pesto was a delight and the baked feta was delicious. The smoked pork meat Orion we ordered was ok, not fabulous but I’d definitely visit again for the veggie choices that are so much better than most restaurants.

Ate here twice during our stay in Hobart. On both occasions we had a really good experience.

On the first visit we were served by- I think- the manager and his second in command. We were really impressed by their enthusiasm and passion to build a quality restaurant. Of course that means nothing if the food doesn’t deliver. Fortunately, it does.

I particularly enjoyed the dips selection to start, hummus with a Cretan slant was different to the norm and delicious. The pork skewers and pork shank were excellent and my wife enjoyed the seafood mix and lamb cutlets . There’s also an interesting wine selection including Greek which is well worth exploring.

Service was attentive and we even got a complimentary pastry desert and a digestif, not that we needed anything extra after a very filling meal.

This is a restaurant that deserves to succeed and I feel confident it will.

Perfect dinner. From the divine food to the warm service. Can't recommend it enough, it was that good!
