Owner description: Every Sunday, come rain hail or shine, a busy street in the heart of Hobart transforms into a bustling farmers' market. It's all about Tasmanian produce and getting to know your farmer, and it always has been.

Me and my wife always go for a walk in the city every sunday morning and always pass by this lovely and lively market. Produce are awesome, foods are funtastic. Great way to spend your morning walk.

So much awesome produce in such a small spot. If visiting and have kitchen access dont miss this!

Get in early and come get breakfast before doing your shopping!

This is a very small farmers market which runs on Sunday in Hobart. We found that the goods were limited somewhat. We planned to get some things to have a picnic lunch however aside from cheese and fruits were a little disappointed. It would have been nice to seen some fresh baked goods and delicatessen items available too. Saying this we did get some great cheese and fruit which kept us going throughout our driving tour of Tasmania.

A pleasant modest-but-not-tiny market. Lots of very fresh produce. Quite a few snackables and breakfast/brunch items. A bit pricey at times (no, the $6 doughnuts are not fantasmogorically good enough to justify that price). It's pretty busy by 9.30am, so go early if you don't like crowds.

The market was a lot smaller than I expected after reading other reviews,it's only 1 block long and many of the stalls are coffee and snack stalls and not food stalls. As for the produce that was on sale it was all very expensive,if you are into organic food and willing to pay a big premium for it that's fine but there was just as good quality available in local stores at much better prices. It is a good place for breakfast with good food and coffee stalls if thats what floats your boat.
