Just spent 4 nights at this hotel in Hobart. Staff friendly and accommodating when we had to change our dates at the last minute (thank you Nicole!) due to changes we had to make due to Covid and coming from Qld. We were visiting to do the 3 capes walk and were able to leave our luggage in storage while we went on the 4 day walk. Beds super comfy and fluffy pillows, USB charging ports next to beds. Bathroom and kitchen a little old but still very functional and had everything we needed. 5 min walk to woolworths, chemist and plenty of food options nearby. 20min walk to Salamanca Place and central Hobart. Will definitely be back next time we are back in Tas. Thank you also to Jeanette at reception for being so kind and helpful!

I stayed in a double studio which was awesome. It had a proper kitchen with all facilities you might need, from chopping board to cooking pot & microwave. I had a queens size bed in the 'master bedroom', which was very comfy, and two single beds in the other bedroom. Both rooms had extra blankets, pillows and heater. Sockets are placed on both side of the bed as well as bedside lakps.
There're cleaning equipments in the bathroom which were very useful since there is no daily room service if someone stays less that 5 days. I quite liked this honestly because I am happy to make my bed, plus I don't like getting fresh towels every day (i find it extremely un environmentally friendly). For the same reason, I was happy to see the soap, sampoo, conditioner, body lotion and shave foam dispensers instead of the travel size ones in plastic packages.
The hotel itself located on one of the main roads of Hobart, only 10min walk from the City and 2min from the shops (woolworth, chemist, etc). Even though the hotel is on a main road, it is a bit closed area, so the traffic didn't really bother me during the night (i slept really well).
Overall, it exceeded my expectations and was a good value for money.

We stayed here 3 nights. The check in was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean but a little tired. ( Renovations were in progress in other areas of the apartments). Parking was easy. The apartments are well located for shops and restaurants and the Hobart hop on hop off bus stop is virtually on the doorstep. We would stay here again.

We have stayed at Bay Hotel apartments several times and have never been disappointed. This time we stayed in a studio which was tucked away in the back corner of the complex which meant that it was nice and quiet and easy to park outside. The studio was basic but had all the necessary features such as TV, microwave, own bathroom with toiletries and free wifi. The bedding was nice and clean. This place is a great base from which to explore Hobart. A lot of places such as Sandy Bay, Salamanca place and the harbour are easily reached on foot. We will stay there again on our next trip tp Hobart whenever that may be.

Room tip: any room to the rear of the complex to avoid traffic noise.

Stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2020, two couples sharing a 2 bedroom apartment, found it clean, comfortable and roomy enough, well equipped, with microwave and hotpaltes for cooking.
Good location, short walk to shops and lots of Asian restauarants, and about 15 min walk to Battery Point.
When checking in, I asked about the "breakfast provisions" mentioned on the website, and receptionist made out that I did not know what I was talking about and told us about where the closest shops were. However, in the folder of info in the apartment there was info and pricing ($4.50 from memory) about the breakfast. By the time we found it we ahd already shoped for our on supplies, sio did not botehr, just found it strange that she knew nothing about it!!
Parking lot was rather uneven and spots were a bit tight, and not necessarily outside your room.

Room tip: First floor unit had narrow stair access, ground floor access easier
