We loved staying here so much that we booked an extra night. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable. The bed was huge, there was a two seater couch as well as a table with two chairs. Reception staff were really friendly, and the whole environment was relaxed and welcoming. Located right in the middle of Salamanca and Battery Point, it was an easy walk to pretty much everything. We will make this our hotel of choice when we come back to Hobart

Exceptional staff at reception. Very helpful. Plus they are 24 hour which was great.

Rooms were as depicted.

Advice : it is on a hill. Don’t do what I did and drag your bags all the way from the harbour. Just get an uber for ten dollars!

We visited Hobart on our 40th Wedding anniversary and returned to the Lenna as this is where we had stayed 40 years ago. From the moment we booked in till the time we had to leave it was a magical experience. We initially booked a large room with Harbour views, which looked out over the dock area and Salamanca place. The room was well appointed with a king size bed, and looks to have been updated not long ago, certainly a far cry from our stay in the eighties. The location is so close to all of the bars and restaurants of the wharf and Salamanca place. We had initially only booked for three nights however extended this out with a two nigh stat in the Penthouse. The Penthouse stay really topped out the experience, it was just so luxurious from the moment we walked in through the door to the massive open area lounge, and then the fully equipped kitchen including a refrigerator with ice maker. We will certainly be making the Lenna or Hotel of choice when visiting Hobart.

Room tip: If you can afford it don't miss out on the Penthouse. It is worth the money.

Have stayed at the Lenna a few year ago on business so decided to give it a go for our first holiday after a year of lockdown in Vic. Didn’t disappoint it was a great stay, 6 nights fantastic service and accommodation, rooms are generous and we were upgraded to a harbour view so enjoy time in hotel as well as Hobart.

Like hotels when you can open a window for fresh air, especially some of that perfect Tassy clean air!

Beautiful gardens and for new year went up to the tower at the hotel to watch fireworks, great night time views of Hobart, worth the climb.

Great location short walk down the hill to my favourite Hobart restaurant The Ball & Chain, best steak in Tas and wine list wow.

Was extremely impressed with Lenna of Hobart. I had booked 2 rooms for a short getaway with my father and I had a standard Queen Room while my father was kindly given an upgrade into a Harbour view with King bed. As soon as we walked into the reception we were greeted by friendly staff and advised of our lodgings.

The main building is a stunning old girl which is in great condition and beautifully decorated. The walkway to the hotel rooms has a great view on either side and the newer building is nicely presented and clean.
The rooms themselves are again beautifully presented, neat, clean, tidy and well kept. They are nice and large and have plenty of storage available. I was also happy to see that there are multiple power points in the rooms, this is lacking in many other hotels I have visited overseas. Mini bar was available with the basics and a Nespresso machine in the room.

The showers had great water pressure and adjustable height shower head which is great for taller people. The room had its own split system and was quiet when turned off so you could get a good nights sleep without the background noise of an aircon unit.

The hotel is a 2min walk to Salamanca Place and Battery Point shops so plenty to eat and drink. A short walk to the Travel Centre to get the Hop on Hop off bus or the bus to visit Mt Wellington and also a short walk to the waters edge, all the Fresh Seafood restaurants and also the Museums.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Hobart.
