Fab stay here for 8 nights in the exec antique suite. Massive room with lots of space. A small fridge which was filled but we used it for our purchases too. You could easily have a night in and wouldn’t feel cramped and there was a good size sofa and dining table. Very quiet too and bed was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was delicious and those eggs are yum. There was also a bar and restaurant onsite that had great food available. A 20-30 min walk into town depending how quick you walk but the bonus is it’s all downhill and there’s a few great spots along the way to eat and drink and grab coffees. Staff here were lovely and friendly. Plenty of car parking spaces and you can charge a car here too. There were also a couple of cars to rent via Kinto but we didn’t have any issues with Uber and it was only $8-10 into town. This place is very unique and some of the pieces make it feel like a well loved museum. Great spot and would deffo recommend.

Clean and comfortable. Room was spacious. One problem that irritated us. Bottle of water in minibar $4. Ridiculously overpriced. Water?! How about $2 instead? Why not? Breakfast buffet good. Clean dining area. Will stay again with byo bottled water.

Room tip: byo bottled water

Dear Daydream49331551997,

Great to hear you found the rooms spacious, clean, comfortable our our breakfast buffet good. I am sorry that you felt the bottled water was overpriced. We do offer a discount when purchasing 2 bottles which totals $6 so $3 each and this is displayed on the minibar list and apologise if this was missed. Alternatively, the tap water in Tasmania is perfectly safe to drink. We are so pleased you will return to stay with us again and look forward to welcoming you back.

This is great hotel. Beautiful room, it is like an apartment. I had the Manor king room. Lovely bathroom. Both were very spacious. Lovely staff. Great area. It did rain a bit while I was there.
Loved the restaurant. I had the special of salmon with a glass of wine for $25.

Room tip: A bin under the bench rather than have to put food scaps in the bathroom. The bin for general rubbish outside not just recycle bins needed
