Great food, I had the twice cooked duck and hubby had the carpet bag steak for main, we even ordered dessert, which is very unusual for us, the staff were very attentive to our every need, high recommend!

We ate here on our first night in town and it was delicious - tasty fresh food matched with local wine and cider. Plus the wall cut our of the sandstone were magnificent

A local suggested this place for dinner and we're glad they did! It is very busy, very noisy but very good! We really enjoy the food here and as regular travellers to Hobart make sure we have dinner here. Still a great choice!

Had a Christmas function here and it was fantastic. We had the steak with coffee rub and it was the best tasting steak ever. Cooked perfectly. Service was quick and friendly. Even saw the Australian cricket team enjoying their meals next to us. Only downside was having to order a side of chips.

Great steaks, excellent service and ambience a plenty. Only bad point can get a bit noisy as it is so busy. I have been here several times now and will definitely return, the service is impeccable and the food is always perfect ,with plenty of variety for the most discerning person, you really are missing out if you haven't been
