“Water By Nature--Adventure Plus”
Reviewed 21 March 2014

We enjoyed our rafting trip on the lower Franklin so much in 2009 that we went back for the 7 day full river trip in January 2014. The scenery is unbelievable. Newland's Cascades camp site is my favourite place in the world. The only way to get out into this wilderness World Heritage area is by water and the best way to do it is with the experience of Brett and WxN. The trip is not for the feint hearted. Camping on a river bank and rock hopping is not for everyone but the adversity is more than made up for by Brett's fantastic meals and expertise and the knowledge that you are in safe hands. We were in Klaudia's raft and apart from a few exhilarating spills she guided us safely home. It rained on several days on both trips but that did not detract from this amazing experience.

“A great day”
Reviewed 19 March 2014

We went on the red boat, which we were told was the better. A great day we had and the buffet lunch wash very good and plenty of it, especially the smoked salmon. The guides were very informative and we stopped a couple of times and walked around different islands. We were lucky the weather was sunny. We went gold class which cost us $220 per couple, which is cheap, if you purchase on the Spirit of Tasmania.

“Franklin River Rafting with Franzi & Elias”
Reviewed 1 March 2014 via mobile

Best thing I've ever done! Everyday was filled with moments of 'Wow :-)'. Food was fantastic. Franzi and Elias cater for special dietary requirements, e.g. Meat and vego alternative in the same meal time. I was never hungry and we had lots of yummy treats that I would never have expected on a trip like this.
Franzi and Elias share a great respect for the river and surrounding environment and take great care to minimise the impact the whole group has on the place.
This pair make a great team. They love what they do and have good equipment.
I strongly recommend this trip for anyone interested in the trip of a lifetime :-)

“Water By Nature 10 day Franklin- brilliant!”
Reviewed 26 February 2014 via mobile

Just returned from one of the best trips of my life- ten days whitewater rafting the Franklin with Water By Nature. Brett and Klaudia were perfect hosts-incredible knowledge of the river and conditions, amazing food- we were safe, comfortable and enthralled by the natural beauty of the wild river throughout. Most highly recommended.

“FranklinRiverRafting - AMAZING”
Reviewed 21 February 2014

Franzi and Elias from Franklin River Rafting made sure we had a fantastic trip. Our guides for the trip were Alayne and Leon; and they were brilliant; nothing was too much trouble. Catering to a vegan and vegetarian was no bother to FRR crew. All the gear was first rate and the food was first class; there was even a cake baked for one of our group who had a significant birthday!.
If you're wanting to raft the Franklin; then this is the company i would strongly recommend.
