Visited last Friday evening as it was my wife's birthday. Had a party of six. A reservation was made on Tuesday for 7.00pm on the Friday. When we arrived there was no reservation in their book so we had to sit at the bar for about 20-30 minutes waiting for a table. Not a good start. The food was very good and the menu had a good selection for both fish and meat. We all ordered seafood and everything was exceptionally well cooked. No problems with the food or service. The other major problem was the air conditioning. Admittedly it had been a 40 degree day but if you are running a top-end restaurant the air conditioning should be working perfectly regardless of the temperature outside. Looking around the restaurant there were many diners fanning themselves with either a napkin or a menu. We had intended to have dessert but because of the oppressive heat and humidity we elected to go elsewhere to a dessert bar in a nearby suburb. Hopefully, the next time we visit our reservation will be in the book and the air conditioning will be working well. Also, I think we will not dine on either a Friday or Saturday evening as the acoustics are not particularly good (no soft furnishings to help with the noise factor) and it was very difficult to hold a conversation and to hear our party members on the opposite side of the table.
