WOW, what an absolute gem of a seafood restaurant in Adelaide.
The experience was stunning, from the first minute you enter the restaurant you feel welcome and have a feeling this is a real quality restaurant, and above all these guys and gals know how to do seafood.
The wait staff are brilliant and nothing was an issue, topmarks.
Well it certainly lived up to all those good initial feelings.
The quality of the meal is unsurpassed, the best seafood I have had in Adelaide.
This is the destination restaurant for seafood.

Please catch a cab for 7 mins from the CBD and treat yourself to this restaurant, you will not be dissapointed.

If you like seafood this is a great place to try some awesome food. Unpretentious, great helpful service, and good value wine. We started with oysters, my partner had barramundi with calamari which came battered salted or grilled. I went for chargrilled whiting and crumbed prawns which were excellent

We've been here a few times recently and it's always outstanding. We take our interstate visitors here for a seafood feed. Best in town.

The fish is fab, the service always great and the wine and beers are fine.

It's a great showcase for SA seafood and we love supporting these guys.

You can't miss!

We were looking for a Friday evening dinner venue and decided to try this place as we have heard a lot about this place.
As per our prior arrangement we arrived at 7am. The interior was nice and we were taken to our table.
As we sat down we could get the amazing smell from our adjacent table and we became hungry instantly. The menu was quite elaborate and took us some time to decide what we are going to have.
Drinks were served with the pita and dip platter and then around 20 minutes later our starters arrived: Chargrilled octopus and white bait. The octopus was nicely chargrilled with a balance of flavour but just one skewer for $18 was a bit overpriced. On the other hand the portion size for the white bait was huge.
By the time we were done with the starters and mains about an hour has passed by when the waitress walked to us saying they ran out of bugs, about 40 minutes after placing the order! Seriously, in a Friday evening you rock up at a place at 7 pm and place an order by 7:20 to hear that "sorry we have sold out" and that too when you were just about to be served.
I was really looking forward to the bugs and that really disappointed me. Then started the worst part of the service where we have to ask twice to refill out drinks and table water and never ever any apologies were offered for the wait.
The food was amazing and couldn't fault but it was not complete with a service like that. Portions compared to prices were okay in most of the cases and we didn't mind paying that much considering the food was so nicely cooked and presented.
Will I go back to the place? Probably not unless I get the uncontrollable craving for few of their dishes.
