Two stays a week apart , at a time when cleanliness is supposed to be top priority

Beware its in the seedy end of town.

first stay we found an empty beer bottle beside the sofa & the TV didnt work. changed room without question. Manager told & he apologised. We checked out went n a trio & returned about a week later.
stay two, One would have thought the cleaners would have had a kick up the bum chat following the first stay. This time an empty water bottle lid & a large random plastic item were on the floor.

Beds were very nice but only 3 pillows in the king bed room. Spacious room with kitchenette

bar& restaurant dont open Sunday & Monday , Bar doesnt open until 3.30
Breakfast was ok

The nice Accor properties I normally stay in, in Adelaide are unfortunately being used for quarantine.
I read the reviews but still decided to give it a go. At booking I asked to ensure I had a room that wasn't noisy. At check-in I asked the same and was assured that the problem was fixed as double glazing had been put in place....The room was very spacious on the 2nd floor with a sunny street outlook. Yes the double glazing and internal sliding doors kept most of the noise out from the street and night clubs across the road. The problem was actually the night club in the basement of the building next door which shared a common wall with the hotel. This meant the dull doof doof base noise till 3-4am Friday and Saturday nights while we were there,.
The staff were friendly but not overly attentive or helpful - as someone else said they were happy to be behind their counter.
Breakfast was great. we had it included and yeas you had to order but they would accommodate any requests eg poached eggs etc.
Such a shame about the noise and tied ambience of the hotel.

The rooms in this hotel is very spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay. The only problem in staying in this hotel is that there is no parking unless you book the limited parking available in the hotel which is in my opinion costly.
