We're in Adelaide for a weekend and found Press based on TripAdvisor reviews. Although upstairs was fully booked, we pretty much got a table right away downstairs. We ordered the mixed grill and the truffled mushroom & taleggio pithivier (pie) and the food didn't disappoint. Also great are the sweetbread and blood sausage, which tasted nothing like offal. Friendly and efficient service in a contemporary restaurant setting. We would highly recommend Press to anyone, especially if you love your meats!

The food here was absolutely delicious. We were seated quickly (despite there being 7 of us and no reservation). The service was excellent, the staff were very attentive and efficient. The brisket with macaroni cheese was simply delicious and went lovely with a cocktail. When I'm next in Adelaide I will definitely be visiting here again!

What a lovely place for such amazing food - wine by the half bottle plus amazing small sharing plates - do try the beef tartare, the quail and the quinoa and beetroot - prices are reasonable and service is prompt

When you visit a restaurant and it's brand new all the staff have been specially recruited you go and get the experience of wonderful food and service so many times you go back years later and not get near that experience you had initially. Well let me tell you that the Press have lifted there standard.

Press was recommended to me and it far surpassed our expectations! Opted for the tasting menu and it was extraordinary. Each dish was more amazing than the last and it was a brilliant experience. Snapper sashimi, witlof salad, beef tartare, sweetbreads, charred squid for entree courses. Tongue and pork belly with potatoes for mains and a plum bomb Alaska to finish. Just exquisite & great value!
