Pizza perfection with thin crispy bases and a fantastic array of toppings, all 3 shared pizzas were very tasty, and wash down with an enjoyable Barossa GSM served by friendly staff, we will return for a quick easy dinner.

Wonderful pizzeria. The pizza base is thin and crisp, good size, and amazing taste. The local is not too big, they have an outside terrace (although with views to the road), and a few places inside distributed in two floors. We were seated in a table next to the window which was convenient to see the Fringe environment. Our waitress was lovely and very polite. The menu is not to big, which is great as so many times you feel overwhelmed with the number of plates to choose from. Definitely a restaurant to eat pizza, not many other options available. A new finding in Adelaide to add to our list.

After a delightful Italian movie we headed to Est, where we have always had tasty, thin-based pizzas over a number of years, interesting wines and great service. We arrived just before 9pm

It all started well, with orders taken by our cheerful and efficient waiter. Pizzas arrived promptly. When I asked that music volume be turned down, so we could chat, the staff obliged.

Not long afterwards, two more tables of customers arrived. The music volume had been increased again, and this time a client from another table asked for it to be reduced. Once again, it was done promptly.

Not long after 10pm head-banging music was playing - loud enough that it was difficult to talk. Feeling uncomfortable, we decided to leave. As we went downstairs, we saw the staff cleaning up for the night. One can only wonder about the reasons for the choice and volume of music.

Popped into Est after walking down Rundle Street looking for dinner after a fringe show.
Est came to mind and we walked down to East Terrace, they were full at the time, but gave us a ring 10 minutes later to let us know a table was available.
We ordered two pizzas- margherita with added olives (was even asked which type we would prefer which was nice) and the potato with Gorgonzola and speck (I think?) both were delicious and beautifully seasoned. Some interesting choices of wine to match, I had a touriga nacional which I dont see too often on wine menus.
I think what made the dinner so nice was the setting within the restaurant. Rundle street and surrounds were chaos, but when inside, it was so calm and intimate.
Service was also very lovely and the waiters genuinely seemed to enjoy being there.
Overall a lovely after Fringe show meal and will come when we are in next in the East End.

If only we lived in Adelaide, and seriously thinking about it, we would be here most nights. Best pizza we remember having for a long time, and possibly one of the best ever. Nothing like watching your pizza cooked in a large wood fired oven, and especially so on a relatively cold Adelaide night. Great and very affordable wine selection. Very friendly and attentive service, after only a week felt like regulars. We would make EST a go to destination anytime visiting Adelaide.
