First visit to Barossa so decided to enlist an experienced and well reviewed guide company.

The van was prompt on pickup and return to city as well as comfortable for groups, couples, and singles. The guide provided information on Adelaide as well as Barossa and local wineries. Overall, thought the stops were well timed and planned giving variety to the trip though sometimes feeling a bit like time fillers to meet planned cellar door reservations.

Highlight for me was Peter Lehmann - great private tasting, beautiful surroundings, lovely platter for two that paired nicely with wine topped off by a fantastic walk to the next location. The only thing that could have made that experience better was picking up the board and moving lunch outside bc it was a stunning day!

Personally, I didn't enjoy Chateau Yaldara all too much despite the gorgeous estate. Perhaps it was the host or the wines were not to my taste. Langmeil was a nice break as we could sample anything from the list though it felt a bit rushed - which could've meant we were just really slow walkers from the previous location. The last stop, Lindsay wines, I found pleasantly surprising. Quality wines though nothing too overstated and a fantastic vinyl collection.

I would recommend this to first time Barossa visitors as it takes the stress out of planning a day. Would I come back? Depends on who I am with and if the list of locations has altered or not - may want to try out some different wineries next time around.

I've been on several wine tours with various companies and Taste the Barossa was by far a clear standout!

From the very beginning I was impressed by John the driver who was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his job. He was able to give unique and insightful facts throughout tour and his relaxed, low key commentary meant that we were able to tune in or chat amongst ourselves accordingly.

The choice of route from the city to the Barossa was another big plus. Traveling through North Adelaide via Melbourne Street and then down lower north through the hills via Tea Tree Gully is much more scenic that the usual freeway route. The Whispering Wall is also a great addition to the day.

Another major positive were the choice of wineries. Chateau Yaldara was an ideal place to start with its impressive French style castle grounds, it really sets up and captures the magic of what the Barossa Valley is all about.

The popular and well known Peter Lehmann's was also a fantastic inclusion and a great place to sit down and enjoy lunch. The walk to Langmeil from Peter Lehmann was a great way to break things up and provided a fantastic chance to continue conversing with the other tour participants.

Above all, the most satisfying aspect of the tour were the generous amount of tastings at each winery. This mixed with the great variety and quality of wine that was offered separated this tour from your competitors.

Thanks again :)

What a great tour guide. He kept us entertained all day, top bloke & very knowledgeable of the region too. We got in a variety of local sights & 4 wineries. Each of the winery had a different aspect to it too. Throughly enjoyable day, we will do again. The highlight, was a shot of 100yr old port

You never got around, to tell me the Malcolm Marshall story JR ‍♂️

Visiting Adelaide I opted for this tour and it turned out a blast. Excellently organised wine tour, small group, 4 vineries, generous informal tasting, scenic drives and even a short stroll between two vineries and the crown of it all was our guide JR. A really nice, knowledgable, informative guy, full of all sorts of stories, professional yet also funny. Thanks J. I can only recommend this tour to anyone visiting Adelaide, cheers.
