Owner description: Mt Jagged Wines is a very picturesque vineyard halfway between McLaren Vale and Victor Harbor. This vineyard enjoys a glorious view over vines, rolling hills and beyond to the Southern Ocean, Coorong and lakes system. Wine varieties include Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Semillon - most of which are bronze medal or better. The proprietors also provide a Cheese Board or Lunch Platter full of local produce of very high quality & wood fire in the winter (with house made soup planned for weekends). And of course tea & coffee with housemade treat. Children are provided with games and drawing materials with complimentary juice boxes.

Today Friday 6th April we had the pleasure of sampling the wine and enjoying the service of great hosts in Tod and Suzanne. The cheese platter was perfect along with the quality wines. A most relaxing place and thoroughly recommended as a place to Visit

Such a beautiful spot and such wonderful hosts! We have visited Mt Jagged three times now on a Scoopon. The cheese platter was devine, made with quality produce. The wines are lovely & reasonably priced and the view is gorgeous. We have two young children which can be a handful at times however the owners were lovely and made us feel so relaxed. The property is lovely with animals for the kids to enjoy! So lovely, can’t wait to return and would highly recommended! Thanks guys!

Visited on a Sunday lunchtime for wine tasting and a lunch platter. The wines were overall fine, with a couple of stand out surprises. The platter was much larger than expected and was really delicious. We enjoyed a glass of wine with lunch, beautiful views, a quaint cellar door and extremely friendly and hospitable hosts. Will definitely go back and will recommend the place to friends. Will also be looking for the wine in bottle shops - particularly the sparkling Chardonnay (which I don’t normally like, but I bought a dozen!).

We'd moved to the area a year ago and often buy wines from McLaren Vale but we decided to check out the locals first. Wonderful range of affordable and very drinkable wines. Nice lunch platters in a very friendly and personal tasting shed. Good on a winters day I'd imagine with the views.
