Owner description: Baird Bay Ocean Eco Experience is a marine experience, once done, you will never forget. None of the marine mammals of Baird Bay have ever been fed, nor have they been enticed in any other way. The interaction is entirely of their choosing and will remain so. Not everyday is perfect, the conditions are wild and free. We give it our best shot for an incredible interaction to happen for you with either the sea lions or dolphins, or at its very best both these beautiful marine mammals on the one tour. No guarantees are promised, but in saying that, we can guarantee the least that will happen, is, you will see the sea lions up close and personal.

I would like to thank Alan, Trish and Jack for providing this amazing experience! It was the best experience I have ever had and a day I will never forget. The trip was not rushed with plenty of time in the water to watch these beautiful creatures, and the staff ensuring we all had the best experience we could! The sea lions are so friendly and love to show off, it's so incredible to watch and I cannot wait to do it again one day! If your thinking of booking then just do it as you will not regret it!

Myself and friend had the time of our lives on this tour. Unfortunately the dolphins werent keen to play, but we swam with the seals for hours! They were so cute, and playful. The guides were knowledgable, skilled and ecologically friendly. Shout out to the great skipper and shark shield, Jack!
We had a great time, and it has got to be one of the best experiences of my life!

This was a 60th birthday present for my wife so it had to be researched and booked somewhat secretively
Trish was fantastic providing info on the phone and by email and assisting with a personalised voucher.
Our experience once arriving was first rate. Trish gave us a great welcome, Jack was great with everything we needed on board and Alan provided great information and skill finding the best spots to swim.
The swimming experience with the dolphins and sea lions was unique and amazing as we spent time in their world. This is a must do!
Well done to you all.

Thank's Alan, Trish and Jack for another amazing couple of days with the sea lions and dolphins at Baird Bay. We were a group ranging from 25- 59 yo, some with limited snorkeling and swimming experience. Alan was not phased by the range of ability and ensured everyone was able to experience the wonderfulness on offer and at their own pace.
Didn't see cuddling 'Louis' sea lion this time but there were lots of very playful pups and some oldies that paid a visit too.
We have some amazing clear dolphin footage on the Go-pro thanks to Jack and many unforgettable memories of the sea lions that we captured.
Because nature can not be controlled, often unpredictable and beyond Trish and Alans control - each time the experience is a different one - but never never never disappointing.
Thanks again guys you are real 'champs'.

Thanks for posting your glowing review, we appreciate the fact you have taken your time to do so. Just want to assure you that "Lewis" the Sea lion is alive and well and still entertaining swimmers in his inimitable style. He was out and about a couple of days ago being his usual cuddly self, and it appears he has an apprentice with him, one of last season's pups is following him around and interacting in a similar way. We have a great bunch of Sea Lions in the colony this season, all born entertainers I am sure.

We ventured out recently and were joined by a huge amount of dolphins within minutes..We then then spent around 45 minutes frolicking with them followed by around the same time with a bunch of sea lions! These guys are top notch operators who really care for their environment and the creatures around them.Truly a great experience!!
