This Accor motel was affordable and clean. Sadly, one young receptionist was apparently the only duty manager. Not good enough despite her brave attempts to attend to a number of guests booking in, asking questions, as well as the busy telephone. Having been recently refurbished; it was perfect for a short (overnight) stay on our road trip, Whilst the king bed studio room was just big enough for two large suitcases, the floor plan was generally well set out. The upgraded room had a mini kitchenette and ironing facilities that were both tucked away into the cupboards, each with their own individual lighting. Very clever, neat and handy. The new decor (white no ash colour scheme) was modern and fresh. No artwork existed in the room but extra, toiletry items included toothbrush and shower cap, so often missing from motel rooms now.
The property was near a number of take away facilities, and the on site restaurant was pleasant and well attended despite the low, wet season. The ambience of the restaurant was pleasant but we could not comment on the food or service as we did not eat there. I would suggest that the accommodation would suit travellers, like ourselves staying for short, overnight stays and individuals who prefer eat out. No,microwave or kitchen facilities are included in the studio style room.More
