Q1 was great and we had a great holiday. My only issue was the room had a strong odour of Indian Food. We would get used to it until we left then returned, even our clothes smelt like Indian food.
While Q1 was a great experience, we have stayed at other properties before and enjoyed a balcony. I guess due to the height of the tower, balconies are only partially open.
Other than that we had a good time.
It was quite smooth going on picking up the keys at GCHR office & a few minutes drive out to Q1 apartment. My family was thrilled with the 42nd floor's fantastic view of the coastline and the city from our bedrooms & balcony. The apartment was spacious and clean, just nice for a family of 7 (2 folding beds were added in for my kids). It has full facilities with washing machine, dishwasher, dryer, oven, vacuum cleaner, iron, cooking utensils, & towels. We found that the window blinds in one of the bedrooms were 'too noisy' as the metal piece keeps hitting the window frames because of the air from the air-conditioner blowing on it. We had to tape up the blinds eventually. The convenience was there as it's a few minutes' walk to the beach and to the Surfers Paradise tram station too. Shopping was convenient as it was a 7- minutes walk to the nearby shopping centres along Cavill Avenue. Information for tourists was readily available downstairs next to the front office. There was a reserved lot for us too at the basement carpark.
Absolutely beautiful views of the beach & city, great facilities & only a short walk along the beach to Cavill Ave!
Absolutely amazing accommodation. So clean and spacious. Will only stay here when visiting the Gold Coast
Everything is awesome! Great location! Loved our stay there! Its near every necessary things that we needed to replenish for our 8 days stay there!
