The worst hotel ever.

1.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 31 July 2024
The worst hotel I have ever stayed in by far. Music blasting out across the site from 8am until 9pm. How that is supposed to be relaxing is beyond me. The paint is peeling off in the awful rooms which are in desperate need of attention and updating. A very old fashioned and cheesy hotel. Do not stay here if you want to sleep past 8am.

The family room is a good size bathroom a bit dated but didn't make a difference. Facilities are amazing perfect for little kids and teens we had both. Staff are super friendly and ample parking. The next stay will be for longer, as there is so much to do but not in a short stay

Perfect set up for families. All day activities for kids, most are free however some do require payment. Huge waterpark with playground, pool, spa and smaller waterpark for under 5's. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

We were in a room next to the road and the road noise at night was very loud and the towels smelt awful like a very strong cleaner. It's great they are cleaned so well but the smell was so bad my wouldn't use them and used their beach towels instead.

Overall great experience and would definitely return.

Room tip: Request a room that is not near the road.

Paradise Resort is a good option as a base for families whilst visiting the Gold Coast. It’s in a good location for getting to theme parks etc but too far to walk into Surfers unless you have a pram etc. There are lots of options for activities and things to do. Our room opened onto the central area - which I would advise against as it was very loud every day/night. Also, rooms only have cups and teaspoons provided - no other cutlery or plates, even with a microwave in the room. So if you are planning on feeding children or yourself in the room, you’ll need to BYO cutlery. The fire alarm went off one night at 430am which we could hear but the speaker was muffled when the admin staff were sharing that it was false so was difficult to know what to do. Our stay was fine and kids enjoyed their stay.

Room tip: Ask for a room away from the common area if you want to sleep Bring plates and cutlery if you have kids Figure out how to hire a pram

Incredible stay for families with young children. On-site Kids Club (childcare), in-house dining that doesn’t cost a fortune, great quality food, endless fun and activities for children every day of the week… The list goes on.
Fantastic week spent here. No regrets.

This resort is truly the best resort I’ve ever been to. I have been here three times in six months and never had an issue other than TV problems which was just my error forgetting to turn it on. The maintenance guy was so nice and understanding about the issue despite it being a waste of time. There are tons of activities for the kids including Iceskating which the kids love and even a pamper parlour which the girls loved. This resort is made for kids and it shows. The rooms are amazing And well themed to the four characters which the children love. I cannot explain enough how amazing this resort is from amazing staff to amazing facilities. This is the place to go! That is not to mention the perfect location just a two minute walk to the beach.

Room tip: Book Kids and Teens Club in advance if you are coming on the school holidays. Also, book the buffet breakfast when you book, it is cheaper
